CCTV upgrade in Buckinghamshire

We at Intes UK were recently awarded project for CCTV upgrade in Buckinghamshire at the Sedges Farm. Existing system at the estate was of analogue nature where many cameras had degraded picture.

CCTV In Buckinghamshire

Change of Scene

Since the initial install of the CCTV system at the estate over a decade ago, the scene has changed significantly. Many trees, shrubs or plants that were planted at the development stage has now matured and make significant impact on the field of view of the CCTV camera. During the design stage, we had to take that into equation in order to produce a solution that is fit for purpose in present times and future.

Proposed CCTV Solution

In order to future proof the CCTV system, we have proposed an IP based solution. IP is no only superior when it comes to smart features but also ensures future expansion, if needed, is possible.

Our proposed solution was to utilise existing coaxial cabling in order to minimise the cost for deployment and implemented Veracity IP over Coax technology. In combination with Hikvision NVR, strategically located cameras, ANPR and PTZ cameras, the estate is now much safer place.

Installation

Due to the decision to utilise existing cabling and apply smart technology running IP over Coax, the overall was completed with 3 days with all cameras up and recording.
